[ARCHIVED] AT&T Outage

phone

AT&T is experiencing a cellular outage across most of the southern United States to include the DFW area.  As of now, the City of Seagoville's Communications Center is functional and uninterrupted.  We are experiencing outages with our mobile computers and CAD in the vehicles.  It seems all personnel with AT&T cellular service are not operational.  Phones are in SOS mode and able to make emergency 9-1-1 calls only.  This is causing citizens to contact the PD through 9-1-1.  We are experiencing a higher volume of non-emergency calls through 9-1-1 at the time.

The City issued phones are on the AT&T First Net service and have limited cellular signal strength.
