[ARCHIVED] West Nile Virus 2013

In an effort to minimize the effect of West Nile Virus in the Seagoville community, the City of Seagoville is offering "Mosquito Dunks" to Seagoville residents. Dunks are a biological mosquito control agent and are not harmful to wildlife or the environment. Each Dunk will treat one hundred square feet and may be broken to treat smaller areas. The Dunks will be provided to property owners who have “long-term” standing water on their property. To take advantage of this program citizens must present a current water bill or a valid Driver’s License or Texas Department of Public Safety ID card. The ID must reflect a Seagoville address. The dunks are available at Seagoville City Hall located at 702 N. Highway 175, Seagoville, TX 75159.
