Council Seeks Citizens to Serve on City Boards & Commissions
Application deadline: October 31, 2014

The Seagoville City Council is currently accepting applications from citizens interested in volunteering their service on several of the City’s boards.

To be eligible to serve, one must be a resident and qualified voter of the City of Seagoville.

According to City Secretary Dara Crabtree, mid-year vacancies will be filled on the following boards: Planning & Zoning Commission, Park and Recreation Advisory Board, and the Library Advisory Board.

“Applications will be accepted until October 31st. Following the application deadline, the City Council will conduct a brief interview with each applicant and consider appointments at a future meeting,” she added.

Anyone interested in serving is encouraged to forward a completed application to Dara Crabtree, City Secretary, 702 N. Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas 75159. An application form can be downloaded from the City website or obtained by contacting Ms. Crabtree at (972) 287-6819.
