The purpose of the class is designed to give our citizens a better understanding about law enforcement and how the Police Department works with our community. The classes provide a way to educate and develop positive relations with our citizens. In the class our citizens learn about crime scene searches, traffic stops, building searches, and many other aspects of law enforcement. Once Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association. It is a volunteer program which volunteers serve as ambassadors of the Police Department by donating their time to work on community projects. The spring academy is from April 7th, 2015 through June 23rd, 2015 from 7pm-10pm, Tuesday nights at the Police Department. The course is free to Seagoville citizens or if you work in the City of Seagoville.
