This morning at approximately 6:30 A.M., a motor vehicle accident occurred at the 700 block of the west bound service road of U.S. Highway 175. As a result an AT&T terminal box was damaged. This terminal box services approximately 600-800 AT&T customers in the area, this includes all phone and internet services. This outage affects the Seagoville City Hall, Library, Police Department, Animal Services, Code Enforcement and the emergency call out for public works. The City of Seagoville 9-1-1 lines were immediately transferred and all 9-1-1 lines are being answered. The Police administrative lines are being transferred to an alternate line as well. AT&T is working on restoring services as quickly as possible to the area, however it could take 2-4 days before services is restored.

The Seagoville Police Department has increased patrol in the City. We ask that our citizens please be patient, but don't hesitate to call if they have a true emergency.
