The City Council of the City of Seagoville, Texas will hold a public hearing on the proposed Municipal Budget for the Fiscal Year 2009-2010 (October 1, 2009 through September 30, 2010), on the 3rd day of September, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. at the Seagoville City Hall, 702 N. Highway 175 Seagoville, Texas 75159.

A copy of said budget is on file in the office of the City Secretary at City Hall for inspection by any interested party. A copy of the proposed budget is available for checkout from the Seagoville Public Library for a 24-hour period only.

This proposed budget will raise more total property tax than last year’s budget by $101,122.00 or 3.4% and of that amount, $55,454.00 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the roll this year.

Council is expected to vote on the proposed budget on September 17, 2009 at their regular Council Meeting.
