[ARCHIVED] Cherished Family Pet Goes Missing

On the afternoon of 09/01/2016, the Seagoville Police Department took a report of a stolen bird and cage in the 100 block of Modene St. The Reportee identified the bird as a 92 year-old female parrot named “Bonnie”. “Bonnie” was said to have been in the Reportee’s family for her entire life.

It was alleged that the Reportee left “Bonnie” outside of her home on the front porch in a cage while she was away from the residence for an estimated 30 minutes time. Upon returning home, “Bonnie” and her cage were found missing.

Officers conducted a search of the area and were unable to locate “Bonnie” or her abandoned cage. Neighborhood residents who were outside during this time frame were also contacted and no one claimed to have witnessed any person with “Bonnie” or a cage.

If you have any information to this crime or of “Bonnie’s” whereabouts, you are urged to contact the Seagoville Police Department at (972)287-2999.
