In mid-morning of 10/18/2016, the Seagoville Police Department received a report of a home burglary that just occurred in the 700 block of Casa Grande. A neighbor witnessed individuals exiting the victimized home carrying duffel bags and long guns, which they loaded into an awaiting vehicle, parked in the roadway and fled the neighborhood. This witness was able to provide a detailed description of the suspects and vehicle to responding officers.
Officers quickly developed a suspect in this crime that led to a home in the 900 block of Murdock in S/E Dallas. With the assistance of the Dallas Police Department, four suspects were located and detained at this S/E Dallas home. This described vehicle was also located in the backyard of this residence.
Investigating Officers recovered the victim’s stolen belongings in this vehicle, to include an AR15 rifle and shotgun.
DYLAN BRIGGS, 18, of Seagoville; COOPER RAY GRAY, 23, of Kemp; DALTON BLAINE GRAY, 22, of Kemp; and TORI RENEEE McCRAW, 18, of Dallas were arrested and each charged with Burglary of Habitation, a 2nd Degree Felony. Additional charges against these Individuals are forthcoming.
The vehicle used in this offense was recently stolen in the City of Balch Springs. One of the suspects was an acquaintance of the victim and had been inside his home on previous occasions.
