[ARCHIVED] Spring Cleaning Starts Now!

Dallas County and the Dallas Area Household Hazardous Waste Network will hold a Household Hazardous Waste collection event from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at Duncanville High School, 900 West Camp Wisdom, Duncanville, Texas 75116. The event will be located on the northwest side of the campus in the softball field parking lot.

 

Residents of fifteen cities may drop off chemical wastes ( from home use only).  The event is free to residents who present a drivers license and utility bill from one of the following cities: Addison, Dallas, De Soto, Duncanville, Farmers Branch, Garland, Highland  Park, Irving, Mesquite, Richardson, Sachse, Seagoville, Sunnyvale, Wilmer, University Park and the unincorporated areas of Dallas County.

All others pay a minimum $95.00 waste management fee.

ITEMS ACCEPTED: Chemical products left over from home use including paint and other home repair products,  aerosol sprays, pesticides, yard and pool chemicals, craft and hobby supplies, cleaners and polishes, batteries of all kinds, antifreeze, motor oil and other automotive fluids, fuels, fluorescent light tubes, liquid grooming products and computers and electronic waste.

NOT ACCEPTED:  Waste from business use, common trash or recyclables, containers larger than 5 gallons,  explosives or ammunition, medical waste, construction debris, TVs, used tires, smoke detectors or other radioactive materials.
