MAJOR WATER MAIN RUPTURE MAY RESULT IN POTENTIAL EXTENDED PERIOD OF INTERRUPTED SERVICES

SEAGOVILLE, TX- On Thursday, January 25, 2018, City of Seagoville Water Utilities discovered a large 14” water main had ruptured in a Southwest area of the City.  City crews are in the process of addressing and repairing this water leak.

Based on the extent of this rupture, Water Department supervisors estimate water service could be interrupted for 2 – 7 days.  The Water Department is taking every step possible to minimize the inconvenience caused by this rupture.

Residents in the area South of US Highway 175 from Glenn Road to Woody Road will be mostly affected.  Residents in this area should expect low water pressure to no service during this time of repair.

For additional information please contact Phil DeChant, Director of Water Utilities, at (214)329-3381.
