[ARCHIVED] Car Chase Leads to the Arrest of Two Dallas Men

On July 22, 2010, Seagoville Police responded to a suspicious circumstance call in the area of Shadybrook and Hall. During the investigation officers found that a truck pulling a trailer with a car on it was taken earlier in Mesquite. Officers located the vehicle and trailer in the 400 block of E. Simonds. The vehicle and trailer were found to be stolen out of Mesquite. Subsequently, while officers were investigating, a red Ford pick up drove up and sped off at a high rate of speed. Officers gave chase and apprehended the driver of the truck in the Creekside Mobile Home Park. The passenger continued to run on foot and was apprehended on Pearl Street.
Both Tyler Jacob Gehrke and Edward Frank Williams of Dallas, Texas, were taken to the Seagoville Jail and booked for Evading Arrest, and holds were placed on them for Mesquite and Dallas PD relating to the stolen vehicles and trailer.
