Linda Sherman, United States Postal Services Operations Manager will attend the Thursday, December 9, 2010 City Council Worksession to discuss the status and answer questions on the proposed closing of the Seagoville Main Post Office.

The City Council has written letters to U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson, U.S. Senator John Cornyn and U.S. Representative Jeb Hensarling asking for their support in keeping the Seagoville Main Post Office here in Seagoville. Petitions containing over 1,700 signatures were mailed along with the letters.

Seagoville residents and patrons of the Seagoville Main Post Office are encouraged to attend the December 9th Worksession and state your concerns over the proposed closing of the Seagoville Main Post Office.
