The City of Seagoville introduces a  program that brings advanced technology to the Water Department and its customers. Seagoville is embracing these new tools for efficiencies and business innovations. The program involves installing water meters equipped with a digital-read display. The meter lids are outfitted with a radio transmission unit, which sends water usage data via a secure fixed wireless network to the utility.

Over the next six months crews will be working in various neighborhoods to install the new meters. The meter installation personnel will NEVER ask to enter your house.Crews will need access to a water hydrant to flush the water line during the installation and will be easily identifiable with the Aqua Metric logo on their shirts, safety vests and vehicles.
