Fireworks illegal in the City of Seagoville

The Seagoville Fire Department would like to inform the citizens that it is illegal to possess, use, store and handle fireworks inside the city limits of Seagoville.  The city also passed a nuisance ordinance that makes it illegal to use fireworks within the City of Seagoville extraterritorial jurisdiction. That distance is 5000 feet outside the city limits.

Violations of these codes may result in a fine up to $2,000.00.
