[ARCHIVED] City of Seagoville Charter Review Commission Openings

The City of Seagoville is currently accepting applications from residents interested in serving on a Council-appointed ad-hoc commission. The commission members will act in a volunteer capacity and must be able to attend regularly scheduled meetings. The commission shall consist of twelve (12) members. Terms for the ad-hoc commission members will last from approximately June 2022 to July 2022.


The commission will review the City Charter for recommendations to City Council concerning Charter amendments. Amendments to the City Charter will be voted on by the citizens of the City of Seagoville during the November 2022 Election.


Applications must be turned in no later than Tuesday, May 31, 2022. The application form is available through the City Secretary’s Office at Seagoville City Hall, 702 N. Hwy 175. For more information, contact the City Secretary’s office at 972 287-6819 or
